Slap Battles Tier List
Updated June 14, 2026
There is no single best glove in Slap Battles. The meta shifts with every update and the right pick depends on your skill and playstyle.
This tier list ranks the most impactful gloves and explains why each sits where it does, so you can choose a glove that matches how you actually play.
Glove tier ranking
S through D, based on current community consensus.
S-tier gloves explained
Overkill, Reaper and G-X define the top of the meta.
Overkill remains the most powerful glove for raw eliminations: a well-timed charged hit can one-shot opponents. The trade-off is punishing. Miss the swing and you are wide open, so it rewards experienced players who have mastered spacing.
Reaper pairs strong base damage with mobility, making it versatile across maps and forgiving for aggressive play. G-X (the Opera GX collaboration glove) brings both a speed mode and a charged lunging slap, giving it offense and escape in one kit.
How we rank gloves
Knockback, consistency, mobility and skill floor.
- Knockback power: how easily it launches opponents off the map.
- Consistency: how reliable the glove is without perfect timing.
- Mobility and utility: escapes, dashes and crowd control.
- Skill floor: how punishing the glove is if you whiff.
Meta notes
Camping is weak right now; aggression is rewarded.
The current meta favors aggressive, mobile play. Passive camping strategies have fallen off, which lifts gloves like Reaper and punishes slow, defensive picks. Counter-picks such as Reverse remain strong because they punish heavy hitters by reflecting knockback.
